SafePaths:
The Money Game
continued...

The good news is, it's just a game–so why don't we change the rules so anyone can win. In the new game, the financial freedom game, you win by first achieving financial freedom.

Financial freedom is the ability to pay all of your monthly expenses with passive income (which comes from money that's working for you). This is achieved when your passive income is greater than your expenses. And anyone can do that–Anyone!

In this game it's not about having a large earned income. In fact, if your total expenses are only $1,500 you're much closer to financial freedom than someone like me who has more than $10,000 a month in expenses.
Now let me take this game of financial freedom one step further and define the ultimate game as financial independence. This is the point at which you are no longer a slave to your money–you are free to nurture your spirit, your relationships, your intellect, your health, and your desire for fulfillment. These are the whys that have you committed to financial freedom in the first place.

When you tend to be a slave to your needs, you don't think about being the author of your life. However when you achieve financial independence, you're free. When your free–you tend to ask yourself, "now what am I gonna do?"–you get this sense of "oh, wow, I really am the author of my life."
